Phil Jarratt, Head of Technical at Sika Business Unit-Contractors, takes over as Chairman with effect from 1^st October. PhilÙs twenty year-plus experience in single ply began at founder member Sarnafil. He represents SPRA at British Standards and convened the roofing industry group consulted by HM Government on the revised Building Regulations Part L. "I will concentrate the efforts of SPRA so that every activity, whether it is the production of technical information and editorial or the promotion of individual projects, ensures decision makers are continually informed and made aware of the benefits of using SPRA membersÙ products and expertise."
