Mike Crook of SIG Design and Technology has been appointed Chairman of Single Ply Roofing Association (SPRA). Mike is the Trading Director of SIG D&T and has a wealth of commercial experience and expertise in roofing, cladding and linings specification and supply. During his two year appointment Mike will lead SPRA’s elected Council, which comprises membrane manufacturer, associate component and contractor membership categories. 2012 will see the adoption of an ambitious new business plan for SPRA which will enhance further its status as the centre of excellence for single ply roofing.
Mike sums up his objectives during his tenure: “I aim to proactively represent the interests of all single ply industry stakeholders with all external partners; to establish SPRA as the primary information resource for all aspects of design and installation; to provide comprehensive installer training and apprentice training programmes and to promote best practice and complete quality control procedures.“
