SPRA meets MPs and industry partners at CPA Parliamentary Reception
Last week, SPRA CEO Cathie Clarke attended the annual CPA Parliamentary reception at the House of Lords. The event was very well attended with ample opportunity to network with MPs, Ladies and Lords. I am pleased to say that roofing was very well represented on the night with many of the federations and several of our members in attendance. It was a valuable opportunity for us to raise awareness for construction, and to encourage government to not think of construction as a ‘low priority’ sector. However, we must remember that we all have an active role to play in improving the image of construction and investing in our industry. Thanks to the CPA for organising these events. I am very keen to hear from any of the SPRA membership who would like more involved with the CPA through SPRA #MakeTheMostOfMembership
